George Gardet (French, 1863-1939). Bronze sculpture depicting a pair of lions, with a female lion lying on her side in front of a seated male lion. Signed to the base.
Height: 11 in x width: 14 1/2 in x depth: 7 in.
The sculpture is in good condition with no major dents, cracks, or losses. Patina is rich and even. The paws of lions are intact; no visible issues. Dust and dirt embedded to the recessed area. The marble base has natural lines and light wear throughout, consistent with its age and use. Wear to the underside. No sign of restoration under UV light.
