Gary Allen (American, b. 1936). Oil on canvas painting depicting an abstract interior with what seems to be a green tennis table stretching across the composition, 1964. Gary Allen was a California artist who embraced the Visionary art movement in his early works, but went on to produce work like the one offered that resonates with the California Abstract Expressionist movement of the mid-1900s.
