The cabinet is in good condition overall. The structure is stable and sturdy. There are scattered losses to the skirting and decorative pierced elements; several pieces are detached but retained with the piece. There are a few splits to the wood, most notably along seams. One shelf is slightly loose. There are no visible repairs. All cabinets and drawers open and close smoothly and the keys turn properly. There are no chips, cracks, or scratches to the glass. Wear and some slight soiling throughout as expected with age and use. There are a few faint moisture rings to one shelf. The upper cabinet has been wired with a modern lighting system.
