Frank Stella (American, b. 1936). Lithograph on paper titled "Quathlamba I" depicting three abstract 'V' forms fitting together to form a trapezoid, 1968. Each 'V' form is created in geometric repetitions of the stripe patterns in various shades of gray. Pencil signed and dated along lower left quadrant and numbered 99/100.
Sight; height: 16 in x width: 28 1/2 in. Framed; height: 22 1/4 in x width: 34 1/2 in.

There are no rips, major creases, losses, or restorations. Light undulation to the sheet throughout. Framed under a non-acidic mat. There is a line of very faint toning/discoloration along the right side, not visible when framed. The work is hinged to a stiff paper backing with two pieces of framer's tape along the right and left corners of the verso. Some residue tape and light skimming along the verso along the corners from previous framing. Framed under glass; light wear to the frame. The paper backing has been cut along three sides to allow for inspection out of frame.
