Edward Evans (American, b. 1935). Acrylic on canvas trompe l'oeil painting titled "Off The Beaten Path" depicting sheets of paper filled with type, 1996. Signed and dated along the lower right. Further signed and titled along the stretcher along the verso.
Unframed; height: 24 in x width: 40 in. Framed; height: 24 1/2 in x width: 40 1/4 in.
Condition
The artwork is in excellent condition with no rips, losses, or restorations. The surface is stable and the colors are bold and bright. Some light wear along the extreme edges of the canvas that does not affect the recto. Some light wear to the frame.
