Early Tiffany sterling silver tea set including one teapot, one creamer, and one sugar bowl, ca. 1853. All with floral decoration; the teapot and sugar bowl with finials in the form of flowers. Impressed marks along the underside "53," "Tiffany & Co.," "Tate," "Tiffany, Young & Ellis," "550 Broadway," and "1150," with Edward C. Moore's "M" mark.
