Helen Granger Young (Canadian, 1922-2023) for Cybis Porcelain, United States. Hand-painted porcelain figurine titled "Crow Dancer 'Great Thunder'" in the form of a man in feathered dance regalia, 1977. Signed "Cybis" and numbered 183 along the back of the porcelain base. Affixed to a wooden base. By repute it once was displayed in the Thunderbird Motel in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Height: 18 1/2 in x width: 11 1/2 in x depth: 8 in.
The colors are bold and bright. There are no visible chips, cracks, losses, or restorations. Light dust gathered in the recessed areas of the work.
