Painting in the Style of Georges Braque (French, 1882-1963). Oil on canvas painting depicting a cubist composition. Signed G. Braque along the verso and dated illegibly. Similar in style to Braque's famous "Still Life with Mandola and Metronome" (1909) in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Braque was a major contributor to the development of Cubism and painted in tandem with Pablo Picasso and Fernand Leger.
