Chinese Republic Period gilt silver tea caddy in a pagoda form with a carved hardstone cylinder body and a removable enameled cover. The base and trim are filigreed and have enameled pillars. Portions of the body test as jadeite mixed with portions of tourmaline. Marked "Silver" along the underside. Height: 6 1/2 in x width: 5 in x depth: 5 in. Gross weight: 632 g.
