Chinese Ming blue and white "dragon and phoenix" bowl, ca. 17th century. With a "Fu Kuei Chang Chun (riches, honor, and enduring spring)" four character mark along the base.
Height: 1 1/2 in x diameter: 5 1/2 in.

Condition

No major chips or cracks. No visible losses or signs of restoration under UV light. Original firing and glazing flaws throughout. Light wear and natural surface stretch throughout. Coloration has faded consistent with age and use. Along the rim, there is a 1/2 in chip that is discolored brown visible. Along the exterior, there is a 1 inch long vertical light crack. Along the underside, there is a circular dent as shown in the listing; to the left of it, there is a minute crack; please see the listing image.
