Chinese bronze water dropper in the form of a buffalo laying down, 16th century Ming dynasty. With a large hole along the back and bottom of the buffalo.
Height: 2 in x width: 3 1/2 in x depth: 2 1/2 in.
As noted in the listing, there is a major casting flaw along the back of the buffalo. There is one large hole and two adjoining smaller holes. Some rubbing to the bronze which has left a shiny appearance along the underside. Dirt and dust accumulated in the recessed areas of the work. Some minute dents and scratches along the body of the buffalo. No other notable dents or breaks.
