Chinese famille rose porcelain lamp painted throughout with scenes of home life against a vibrant turquoise ground. Of a rectangular form and fitted with wooden vase mounts. With numerous inscriptions along the underside and marked "China" along the footrim. The vase has been drilled as a lamp.
Body; height: 11 in x width: 6 1/2 in x depth: 5 1/4 in. Shade; height: 12 1/2 in x width: 16 in x depth: 12 in.
The lamp is in generally good condition with no visible losses, chips, or cracks. Light wear throughout. Along the body, there is a network of dark blue accretions to the tip of the cherry blossom tree branch. Towards the bottom, there are two black accretions. There is a minor loss to enamel to the right of a figure playing with a branch and to the top of the branches. There is a sticker residue, approx. 1.4 inch long, to one of the four edges. No visible chips, cracks, or losses to the lock. The shade is in generally good condition with no major losses. There is a 1 1/2 inches long tear towards the bottom; there are two areas of tear near the top; there are two minute holes to the other side of the top. No sign of restoration under UV inspection. Visa, Discover, American Express or MasterCard may be used and are subject to a 3.0% convenience fee and are limited to purchases of $5,000.00 (total). Credit Card payments for jewelry and gold are NOT accepted. The purchaser’s obligation to pay immediately the full purchase price is absolute and unconditional and is not subject to any defenses, setoffs or counterclaims of any kind whatsoever. Revere Auctions is not obligated to release a lot to the purchaser until title to the lot has passed. The purchaser agrees to pay Revere Auctions handling charge of $30 for any check dishonored by the drawee.
SHIPPING
Revere Auctions does NOT offer in-house shipping. As a convenience to the Buyer, Revere Auctions will make a referral for packing and shipping. This is at the request, expense, and risk of the Buyer, and Revere Auctions assumes no responsibility for the items or the timing of delivery. Insurance for in transit items is the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer must reach out to a shipping company to arrange shipping.
