One late Qing Dynasty Chinese export silver tea service set by Hong Chong & Co. Well worked with deep relief decoration and free from reflecting scholars rocks forms. Touch marks to base. The handles of both teapots were replaced. Original silver handles included with lot.

Provenance: Christie's London, 21 May 1987, Lot 4; Collection of Bruce Dayton & Ruth Stricker Dayton, Minnesota.
