One slide film from the archives of the Star Tribune depicting a still of the Children of Dune television series. Children of Dune was a TV mini series that aired in 2003 that adapted both the second and third novels in Frank Herbert's series, “Dune: Messiah” and “Children of Dune.” The sci-fi saga Children of Dune won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Visual Effects and set the stage for future blockbuster films “Dune: Part One” and “Dune: Part Two.”

Provenance: From the archives of the Star Tribune, established over 150 years ago, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
