Bryan Hunt (American, b. 1947). Linseed oil and graphite on paper titled "White Falls" depicting a minimalist waterfall, 1978. Pencil signed and dated along the lower right margin. With a label from Blum Helman Gallery Inc., New York, affixed along the verso.
Unframed; height: 30 in x width: 22 1/2 in. Framed; height: 34 1/2 in x width: 27 1/2 in.
The piece does not appear to have any major rips, tears or losses. The colors are bold and deep. There is an undulation to the sheet throughout. There is some light wear along the deckled edges. There are pin holes in all four corners, possibly original to the artistic process. No restoration when inspected under UV light. The artwork is floated in the framed. Framed under plexiglass; light wear to frame; not inspected out of frame.
