One Native American sterling silver and turquoise squash blossom necklace, circa late 1940s-early 1950s. The necklace contains eight stylized squash blossoms, each set with one turquoise stone on top of the blossom. The silver naja features six conforming squashes set in two rows with a larger turquoise stone set in the top center squash. The turquoise is Bisbee turquoise, oval or freeform cabochon cut, of high polish, and range in size from approximately 14.0 millimeter by 8.0 millimeter to approximately 20.0 millimeter by 12.0 millimeter. The necklace measures approximately thirty one inches long. The naja measures approximately four inches long by four inches wide. There is no maker stamp.
