Attributed to John Scott Bradstreet (1845-1914). Jin-di-sugi hall chair. Cypress or cedar with lovely polychrome decoration covering the sides and front of the chair. Striking butterfly and pin construction. This Arts and Crafts masterpiece harkens back to earlier Scandinavian iconography.
