Antique Chinese carved jadeite double fish. One larger catfish fish surmounted by a smaller. Of a pale coloration with mottled areas of vibrant green. Well-carved with incised scales and pierced decoration.
Height: 1 in x width: 4 3/4 in x depth: 3 1/2 in. Weight: 317.3 g.
Natural fissures and calcifications throughout. One break along one of the catfish's whiskers. There is a possible chip along the larger fish's tail, though due to the fissures and calcification this is difficult to discern. Some pigmentation in the recessed areas.
