Anders Zorn (Swedish, 1860-1920). Etching on paper titled "Traveling Companion (Mr. Ch. Deering", depicting a portrait of Charles Deering reading a book, 1904. 1st and only state. On the plate is written "Through Grand Canion Arkansas 10 march 1904 Zorn." Pencil signed along lower right, below the plate. Along the bottom of the sheet is written "Portrait of Charles Deering - Le Compagnon de Voyage 5614".
