Anatoli Nikitovich Turkin (Russian, b. 1938). Oil on canvas painting titled "Nightly Sprat Fishing" depicting a fishing ship dramatically lit, 1975. Signed and dated along the lower right. Further signed, dated, and titled along the verso.
Height: 24 3/4 in x width: 28 1/8 in x depth: 1 1/4 in.
The painting is in generally good condition with no visible tears, creases, or major losses. The surface is stable, and the color is bold and bright. When inspected under UV light, there is visible varnish loss along the margins. Along the sides of the canvas, there is visible wear and discoloration. Dust collected to the surface. No visible sign of restoration under UV light.
