Albrecht Durer (German, 1471-1528). Woodcut on paper from the Latin text edition of 1511 titled "The Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple," from "The Life of the Virgin." The print depicts a young Mary running up the steps of the temple, surrounded by a lively group of elders and community members. Monogrammed in the plate along the lower right. This artwork showcases Durer's keen architectural sense, as well as his mastery of depth and perspective. With Certificate of Authenticity from Park West Gallery.
