Ada Augusta Wolfe (American, 1878-1945). Oil on canvas painting of an impressionistic still life scene with melon, grapes, and other fruit next to a large glass goblet of wine. Signed and dated 1914 along the verso.
Unframed; height:16 3/4 in x width: 19 1/2 in. Framed; height: 19 5/8 in x 22 in.
There are small areas of rubbing and paint loss along the edges. Stretcher bar marks along the perimeter of the work. There is one larger area of paint loss where the canvas is showing through along the lower right edge. Due to a thick and uneven varnish, it is difficult to discern if there are any areas of restoration or inpainting. Some light wear to the frame. Edges not inspected.
