Peruvian colonial silver bowl with repousse decoration. The base depicts the Lima coat of arms of the crowned double headed eagle, pillars and shield, the bowl and rim with floral and foliate motifs and borders of spheres. On three hooved feet. Stamped "900 Pereda 900" along the rim.
Height: 2 1/2 in x diameter: 13 in. Gross weight: 497.8 grams.
The rim has come bends and undulation, perhaps a part of the original process. Light scratching throughout, very small dents. There is tarnishing in recessed areas. There are no signs of restoration.
