Gorham Manufacturing Company, United States. A six piece sterling silver tea set with a sterling silver tray. All pieces in the Lansdowne pattern (A10506) and monogrammed BBB for the Honorable Bryant Butler Brooks, President of the Consolidated Royalty Oil Company. All marked with Gorham marks and sterling.
Including:
One 2 3/4 pint kettle on stand with burner.
One 1 5/8 pint teapot.
One 1 3/4 pint coffee pot.
One 3/8 pint creamer with gold wash interior.
One two handled, lidded sugar bowl with gold wash interior.
One two handled waste bowl.
One large sterling silver tray engraved "Presented to the Hon. B.B. Brooks President of the Consolidated Oil Company As a token of appreciation of his faithful service and able management given the company without salary since its organization By Resolution of the Stockholders. September 15-1919."
Height ranges from 5 in to 12 in; width ranges from 6 1/2 in 9 in; depth ranges from 4 1/4 in to 7 in. (Tray) Length: 26 in x width: 18 in. Gross weight: 241.49 Troy oz.
Some tarnishing and light wear throughout. Four very small dents to the waste bowl, one moderate dent to the covered bowl, two small dents to the kettle, accretions to the burner. One dent and numerous light scratches to the tray.
