Group of six redware lead glazed and slip decorated stoneware pottery ceramic plates and chargers. The three larger charges each with an incised signature along the back by Christopher Woods (American, 20th c.); titled "Hello good day"; two dated 1995 and one dated 1996. One charger with an impressed stamp from Turtlecreek Potters. The three small plates each with an incised or impressed signature along the underside from Joel Huntley (J. Huntley) and Wisconsin Pottery in Columbus, Wisconsin. Each titled and dated along the underside: One plate with dotted and swirled decoration reading "7-15-96 Cloudy and mild."; one plate with foliate and wavy decoration reading "9-9-93 Great Day"; one undated plate with straight and wavy lines reading "Sunny, Humid and warm."
Diameter ranges from 6 1/2 in to 10 3/4 in.
The plates are in generally good condition. Wear throughout all pieces. All pieces have crazing throughout and multiple chips along their rims. The big plate with a wavy pattern, captured far right in lot listing, has a 1/4 inch chip near its rim. The big plate with a four-line pattern, captured far left, has two major chips- one measuring 1 1/2 inch and the other measuring 1 inch; there are 2 noticeable firing flaws, each measuring 1/4 inch. The other big plate, captured lower center, has multiple chips near the rim along the underside. The small red plate with three lines, captured in the center, has a 1 1/4 inch long chip to the rim; along its underside, there are 2 areas with an adhesive residue, 1/2 inch long each. The small plate with a stripe pattern, captured top left, has a 1/2 inch long chip to the rim. None of the pieces show a sign of restoration under UV light. Revere Auctions is not obligated to release a lot to the purchaser until title to the lot has passed. The purchaser agrees to pay Revere Auctions handling charge of $30 for any check dishonored by the drawee.

This is at the request, expense, and risk of the Buyer, and Revere Auctions assumes no responsibility for the items or the timing of delivery.
