Group of five Japanese studio pottery ceramics in the form of faces. Glazed stoneware. Each signed illegibly along the underside. Included is a small ceramic depicting a figure riding an ox with leather straps.
Height ranges from 4 in to 6 1/4 in; width ranges from 4 1/2 in to 6 in; depth ranges from 1 1/2 in to 5 3/4 in.
Ceramics are in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or dents. No sign of restoration under UV light. There is light wear to the extreme edge of pottery ceramics in the form of faces. The green ceramic has an area that shows the underneath stoneware to the left bottom corner, which is possibly original to the artistic practice. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
