General Idea. Group of six silkscreens on paper from the portfolio "Fear Management," 1987. Each pencil signed and dated along the lower right; numbered 31/50 along the lower left. Including "Cornucopia (The Birth of the Red, White and Blue)," "The Brute Shield," "The Honeymoon is Over," "Passion over Reason," "Nine Lives," and "Down the Drink."

General Idea is a collective of Canadian artists Felix Partz, Jorge Zontal, and AA Bronson, active between 1967 to 1994. They were pioneers of early conceptual and media-based art and continue to be a prominent influence on subsequent generations of artists.
