Eugene Larkin (American, 1921-2010). Group of five woodcut prints depicting pine trees and nature including:
"Pines and Rocks," pencil titled and numbered 11/26 along the lower left.
"Pines and Rocks 2," pencil signed along the lower right, titled and numbered 11/26 along the lower left.
"Pines and Rocks 3," pencil signed along the lower right, titled and numbered 11/26 along the lower left.
"Green Pine," pencil signed along the lower right, numbered 11/26 along the lower center, and titled along the lower left.
"Rocks and Waves," Pencil signed along the lower right, titled and numbered 11/26 along the lower left.
Provenance: Distinguished Corporate Collection, Minnesota.
Sight; height ranges from 23 3/4 in to 39 in. Width ranges from 22 in 37 1/2 in. Framed; height ranges from 46 in to 32 in. Width ranges from 30 in to 46 in.
The prints are in great condition with no visible tears or losses, or major creases. The papers are toned. The color is bold and bright. The "Pines and Rocks" has an area darker than the rest, possibly original to the piece or glue showing through; to the center of the upper margin, there is a light brown mark as shown in the listing image. The "Pines and Rocks 2" has a light crease to the lower left quadrant. The "Rocks and Waves" has five marks along the upper margin, most likely glue from the verso; there is an undulation to the center of the upper margin and along the lower margin, most noticeable to the lower right corner; there is a light crease to the upper right quadrant. None of the prints show visible signs of restoration under UV light. All prints are framed under plexiglass; not inspected out of frame. All frames show light wear. SHIPPING
