David Roberts, RA (English, 1796-1864). Group of four lithographs depicting views of the Holy Land. All signed in plate along the lower right; titled in plate along the lower center; inscribed "Vincent Brooks, Day & Lon, Lith." along the lower left; further inscribed "Published by Cassell, Petter, Galpin & Co., London, Paris & New York" along the lower center. This group includes: "Ruins of an Ionic Temple," "Wilderness of Engedi," "Tiberias," "Jaffa, Looking South."
Each, sight; height: 7 1/2 in x width: 9 1/2 in. Framed; height: 14 1/4 in x width: 16 1/2 in.
All works have no visible rips, losses, or restorations when inspected under UV light. All are slightly unevenly toned, possibly from a previous framing. Light wear to the frames; framed under plexiglass; none inspected out of frame.
