Abraham Munting (Dutch, 1626-1683). Group of four antique hand-colored copper plate botanical engravings. Each depicting the botanical against an idyllic background. Including:
"Linaria Valentina Trifolia," numbered 720 in plate along the upper right, inscribed "fig. 207" in plate along the upper center.
"Oxyacantha Sive Spina Alba Flore Pleno," inscribed "fol. 185" in plate along the upper right, inscribed "fig. 46" in plate along the upper center.
"Myrtus Latifolia Romana," numbered 138 in plate along the upper right, inscribed "fig. 25" in plate along the upper center.
"Mirtus Lauri- Folia," numbered 140 in plate along the upper right, inscribed "fig. 31" in plate along the upper center.
(Sight) height ranges from 13 in to 13 3/4 in; width ranges from 9 in to 9 1/2 in. (Framed, each) height: 25 1/2 in x width: 21 1/4 in.
No visible tears, losses, or restorations. The sheets are toned. There is some light undulation throughout. There are areas of foxing throughout. Housed under non-acidic mats. Framed under glass. Light wear to the frames. Not inspected out of frames.
