Group of four Indian and Tibetan prints and watercolor on paper paintings including a manuscript page from an Indian edition of Al-Qazwini's encyclopedic book "Wonders of Creation and Oddities of Existence" depicting a mythical figure leading three other figures, a kali yantra depicting a series of circles bordered by inscribed triangles, a labyrinth yantra depicting a maze-like diagram with each corner flanked by a hamsa or lotus shape, and a tantric mandala drawing showing an intricate symmetrical arrangement of holy symbols and objects surmounted by a lotus petal form canopy, ranging from the 18th to 19th century.
(Sight) height ranges from 8 1/2 in to 17 in; width ranges from 8 1/2 in to 13 in. (Framed) height ranges from 19 in to 25 in; width ranges from 19 in to 23 1/2 in; depth ranges from 1 in to 1 1/2 in.
The sheets are toned. Wear including chips, creases, minute tears, and handling marks throughout each sheet, particularly along the two larger works. There are also several watermarks along the right edge of the two larger works. Framed under glass; light wear to the frames. Not inspected out of frame.
