Edward Curtis (American, 1868-1952). Group of three blue-tone gelatin silver print photographs depicting Hollywood movie stills. One depicting a group seated around a table, another depicting a pair of lovers with a third figure looking toward the camera, and the third depicting a group of figures with one holding a sign reading "Thou Shalt Not Steal." All from the Edward S. Curtis Studio in the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
Provenance: From the Estate of Christopher Cardozo.
Height ranges from 14 3/4 in to 19 3/4 in; width ranges from 15 in to 18 1/4 in.
The photos are free from any tears, losses, or restorations. The photo depicting figures seated around at able has started to come loose from the paper backing. All are affixed to paper backings. The paper backing is brittle. All have some losses, mainly along the corners. All the backings are toned with areas of soiling. None are framed.
