Jacques Callot (French, 1592-1635). Group of 26 etchigns depicting beggers. Including plates 1 through 25 from the 1622 series "The Beggars" and one additional small print. Numbers 1 through 6 are framed together; numbers 7 through 12 are framed together; numbers 13 through 18 are framed together; numbers 19 through 24 are framed together; number 25 is framed on its own; the additional print is framed on its own.
Sight, height ranges from 4 1/4 in to 6 in; width ranges from 2 in to 3 1/4 in. Framed, height ranges from 12 in to 19 1/2 in; width ranges from 10 in to 19 1/2 in.
Minute creasing, tears and losses throughout items. Light undulation and minute foxing throughout items. There is discoloration along the corners of individual sheets; most likely due to adhesive on verso to adhere images to mat. Sheet number 26 has discoloration and toning. Float mounted. Framed under plexiglass. Light wear to the frame and plexiglass. Not inspected out of frame.
