Two ceramic bowls with repairs. One Chinese Yuan dynasty black glazed ceramic bowl. One archaic Persian bowl in green with red script along the exterior and floral motifs along the interior.
Green bowl; height: 2 1/2 in x diameter: 5 in. Black bowl; height: 2 1/2 in x diameter: 6 in.
Green bowl: Heavy wear and restoration. Original glazing and firing flaws. Faded coloration. The green bowl is fragile; it has multiple restored cracks throughout the item; please see the listing image. Along the lower side of the exterior, there are two areas where stickers have been affixed. Along the interior of the footrim, there are pencil marks as shown in the listing image.
Black bowl: The black bowl has a restored crack along the rim, measuring approx 3 in. Crazing throughout. Along the exterior of the black bowl, there is a vertical line of crack that is extending from the rim to the footrim, measuring approx 4 in. Along the underside where the surface is not covered with black glaze, there are unidentified accretions. Wear to the interior bowl consistent with use.
Green bowl; height: 2 1/2 in x diameter: 5 in. Black bowl; height: 2 1/2 in x diameter: 6 in.
Condition
