19th century Mughal Talwar style handle in the form of a gilt bronze ram's head, ornately decorated with floral filigree. A diminutive tiger reaches forward from the hilt, resting its paws and licking the muzzle of the ram. Both the ram and the tiger's eyes are fitted with brilliant red stones. A contemporary steel blade from W. Shoemacker of Eau Claire, Wisconsin is attached to the blade. With a later leather scabbard, marked along the metal fittings.
