19th c. KPM Berlin German porcelain plaque, depicting an old man reading after Salomon Koninck (Dutch, 1609-1656), "The Hermit." Impressed marks "3" and "E" to the verso. An early Kunsthandlung Ernst Arnold, Dresden, label is affixed to the verso. Housed in an ornate pierced wood frame with hinged doors.
Sight; height: 6 1/2 in x width: 4 3/4 in. Framed; height: 17 in x width: 12 in.
