Tibetan late 19th to early 20th century copper and gilt metal teapot. With elaborate foliate ornamentation throughout and a dragon-form handle.
Height: 12 in x width: 8 in x depth: 10 in.
Some tarnishing throughout, particularly along the spout, handle, finial, and foliate ornamentation as well as the interior of the teapot. There is a dent just below the center of the pot along one side between the spout and handle; there is also a faint scratch just to the right of the dent. There is some chipping along the lower, interior edges of the handle towards where it meets the pot in addition to a chip along the tip of the spout. There is also a deep scratch just below the pointed edge of the foliate ornamentation surrounding the spout.
