18th century Continental polychromed wooden candlestick in the form of a winged cherub draped in a cloth.

Condition
The sculpture has heavy wear throughout; heavy paint loss and cracks throughout; please see the listing image. As expected from its use, there is candle residue to the right side of the sculpture. There is a drill hole to the left to the left foot. There is a crack to the base, measuring 4 inches. Consistent with its age, the polychrome decoration is discolored. The right-wing is restored with glue. Along the underside, there is white charcoal inscriptions; there is a sticker adhered to the underside. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
