Tibetan polychrome ceramic Buddha figure set in a frame. With a label that quotes a letter from C.J. Spiker, former vice-consul at Shanghai, sent September 12, 1916, which says that he removed the figure from a temple used by the Qianlong Emperor and that the Buddha is ca. late 18th century.
