A very fine and rare 18th c. carved Chinese agate pendant carved to resemble a monkey and a bat climbing around on a peach. This is a stunning example of what was possible in the difficult medium of agate pebbles. The russet colored inclusions have been integrated into the carving in a magnificent way creating wonderful colored effects.
