17th century Chinese Qing dynasty Coromandel lacquer seal chest. Beautifully decorated along the doors, sides, and top with polychrome lacquer decoration depicting a scene of figure in the garden, as well as a variety of floral motifs. The doors open to reveal five drawers, all decorated with floral designs and with ruyi head drawer pulls. With original invoice from The Oriental Gallery, Limited, London.
